XXVI Slavic Readings Conference (English)

The conference organizers issue a call for papers on the topical problems in Russian and Slavic studies aiming to discuss the trends of the development of the Slavic language, literature and culture in the modern world.The work of the conference groups is planned to be organized in the following directions:

  • Slavic languages: history and modernity
  • Folklore and traditional culture of the Slavs
  • Slavic – Baltic language, literary and cultural relations
  • Literature of the Slavic peoples in the context of world literature
  • Innovative methods in teaching Russian as a foreign language
  • As part of the Slavic Readings, a workgroup dedicated to the work of Friedrich Gorenstein will work

“XXVI Slavic Readings” will be held both in person and as a virtual event using ZOOM platform.

Languages: Latvian, Polish, Slovak, Russian, English

Deadline for submissions is April 15, 2023.

Participation fees – 40 EUR (for participants in the online format), 60 EUR (for participants in person) should be paid by transfer to the DU account until May 10, 2023.
