Learn Russian in the European Union is accepting applications for the following in-person Russian study abroad programs:

• 2024 Summer Intensive Russian Language Program, 6 weeks
• 2024 Summer Russian Language and Area Studies Program, 5 weeks
• 2024 Fall Semester Study Abroad Program.
• 2025 Spring Semester Study Abroad Program.

All programs are hosted at Daugavpils University in Daugavpils, Latvia. Undergraduate credits will be awarded at Daugavpils University.

PROGRAM SUMMARY

INTENSIVE PRE-SEMESTER COURSE

Students may select an optional intensive pre-semester course before starting the Fall or Spring Semester programs. This 2-week course enables students to brush-up the language skills, refresh grammar and active vocabulary, and ensure a smooth start of the academic program. The course doesn’t give academic credit.

All pre-semester programs include:

• 40 academic hours of intensive Russian;
• 10 hours with communication tutors;
• 2 weeks host family lodging with breakfast and dinner.

ALL PROGRAMS INCLUDE

• Homestays with vetted and trained Russian host families, breakfast and dinner included.
• Exciting excursions, study trips, and cultural experience.
