Semester abroad programs include a local health and accidents insurance. This insurance is very convenient when dealing with minor health issues (consultations with a specialist, infection, trauma, tests, hospital service).

The on-site orientation opens the program. This session will introduce you to the academic program, history, culture, and unique features of our region, living with a host family, health and safety issues. We also take our students for a walking tour around Daugavpils to help them find shops, restaurants, gyms, and other places of interest.
Students receive a comprehensive welcome kit with reference materials, including of the Student Handbook and Tour Descriptions, maps, and stationery.
